As promised at the start of our July challenge I will show you how to turn this into the beautiful wall art below!

Acrylic paint in an
Your choice of stain colors I used TH Distress in Vintage photo and Tumbled glass colors
A stencil or two I used TH Gothic
Texture paste either pre-tinted or you can add acrylic paint in your choice of color to tint regular white Ranger texture paste as I did.
Stamp of your choice I used a french font stamp that I love
Embossing ink and powders I used a tea color powder for the lettering background and a bronze color to distress my focal piece
paper towels for wiping excess gesso away

A quote stamp I chose one of
Step 1...Cover plaque with one or two coats of heavy white Gesso and let dry completely
Step 2...Using embossing ink on a word background stamp and embossing powder in a light brown shade for a subtle
Step 3...Add a few drops of your desired color of acrylic paint to texture paste and mix until you reach the desired shade.
Step 4...Apply texture paste mix through your choice of stencil in random areas (I chose to put mine in corners as you can see) Allow
to dry completely!! very important!
Step 6...Apply off white toned paint all over plaque and using a rag or paper towel gently wipe off in raised areas to reveal a bit of the colored texture
Step 8...Using fine sandpaper gently rub over random areas to distress
Step 9...Place focal piece in desired spot and glue down
Step 10...Stamp your desired sentiment in a color
Step 11..Using distress ink in a brown gently distress all around
Of course you can choose any colors, stencils, stamps, textures, and embossings to make yours!!
